Here's a fun course - Financial Accounting, taught by Brian J. Bushee from the University of Pennsylvania. This 10-week course is offered via Coursera, a "social entrepreneurship company" that partners with educational institutions to offer classes online. The introductory video makes the course sound challenging, but interesting. I wonder if there's a cost? I'll have to explore this further...
