Here's a great video - an alarming insight into the credit crisis BEFORE it hit. David Walker is the "chief accountant of the United States", and these are his views:
in February 2007 we had $8.7 trillion debt , which was 64% of the GDP. However, if you include all of the promised expenses, we've built a $53 trillion hole - and that was almost 2 years ago! The problem is our 4 deficits: budget, savings, balance of payments, and leadership. You got that right! Well, I won't go on - listen and look for yourself. Then do something!
